Lessons

Our philosophy is that in order to succeed, all horses/riders need to be in an ongoing instructional program, therefore our lesson program is designed for students taking lessons once or twice a week. These lessons are taught in a private or small group setting and are customized to educate and challenge their abilities while improving their weaknesses. Our trainers take the time to explain to students not only what to do, but the “how” and “why” of what they are being asked to do. We strive to teach students that they need to learn to communicate clearly through their aids so that their horses respond as desired.

All lessons are 1 hour and include grooming and tacking. Once riders are proficient at grooming and tacking on their own they may earn more riding time within the lesson slot by coming early to groom and tack. Lessons are held rain or shine with important horsemanship lessons planned for any day we can't ride. Notification will be sent via text if lessons are canceled due to inclement weather.

We offer monthly lesson packages to reward our loyal riders who join us for lessons at least once a week. New beginner students are required to start with at least one month of private lessons to jumpstart their learning experience and prepare them to join in group lessons. Monthly lesson invoices are sent around the 1st of the month and are due by the 1st lesson of the month. Make up lessons will be scheduled for vacation, illness or injury if we are given at least 24 hours written notice via text or email.
